Time: 2 days / Starting and ending in Suceava (or ending in Cernivcy, Ukraine)

Itinerary: Suceava - Radauti - Siret - Cernivcy - Suceava

Description: This tour will present you an image of Bukovina at large, disregarding of the border set by Stalin after WW2. Starting in Suceava with the Gah Synagogue, you will then visit the Great Temple in Radauti and eventually pay your respects to the stirring Jewish Graveyard in Siret, hosting superb tombstones that remind one of a bygone era. After crossing the border into Ukraine, in the early afternoon, you will reach Chernivcy, which once stood as capital of Bukovina region and a great cultural centre. The following day you will visit Czernowitz Synagogue, raised in 1873, burnt by Romanian and German soldiers in 1941, then, when the city became part of the USSR, turned into a cinema (which is still is). After visiting the city, with a possible side trip to Storojinet, to visit the graveyard with monuments dating from the 19th century, we shall return to Suceava.
